API call limit

Introduction

The TraceParts API Gateway supports millions of calls every month. To provide the best quality of service, we limit the API call usage.

Call limit

TraceParts has a 6,000 call limit for one sliding hour. This limit is for the entire set of endpoints linked to an API key.
TraceParts can offer support for some tips in order to reduce the number of calls. Depending on your needs, some endpoints could be better to use than other ones.

The 429 HTTP response code indicates you reach the limit.

Increasing the limit

If you consider that you need to extend the call limit, after checking your current usage or the needs of your future projects, TraceParts has the eventual possibility to increase the call limit.
